Why it’s Smart to Invest in Property in 2016

My interest in property investment began about 15 years ago after watching property investment programs on TV and attending quite a few property seminars where my eyes were opened to the huge potential in the property market, not just here in the United Kingdom, but worldwide.

At these seminars, I came across people who had dozens of properties: one particular middle-aged lady comes to mind; she had amassed a total of 96 properties. This for me was amazing. Recently, I was watching one of these property programs and this unassuming gentleman reportedly had over 1000 houses scattered all over the UK with paying tenants! Imagine an average modest rent of £400 per dwelling.

Homes Under the Hammer is one of my favourite programs on TV because it shows you what is achievable by any average wage earner in the UK who is smart, disciplined and determined to escape the rat race by investing in property. Property prices have risen historically over time and is probably the safest investment you will ever make.

If you do your research, you could make a killing in property in the not-too-distant future. With some terraced houses in the north of England going for as low as £30, 000 with a street value of twice as much after repairs and renovations, it easy to see why this is such a lucrative sector.

Within a decade, you could acquire enough to take early retirement.

Maybe this should be one of your resolutions for 2016?

Wishing you a Happy and Successful 2016!
