So, 737 days after my last blog post, I’m back again after a tumultuous 2 years in which time I lost my dear dad to cancer; several uncles, aunts and relatives in quick succession and of course my own personal struggles.
I must apologise to you, my reader for my long absence. My 37-day challenge has therefore been discontinued because I do not promote that business anymore. That’s not saying I wouldn’t re-visit it in future.
So, let’s crack on then.
I recently attended a 3-day property workshop by one of the leading property investment training providers in the UK and the one thing that kept recurring was the need for a mentor in whatever field of endeavour you wish to be involved in.
Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, the list goes on and on, had and still have mentors.
Mentors help you avoid mistakes and shorten your learning curve. The right mentors also provide that necessary link with high net worth individuals which will eventually increase your net worth. ‘How?’ You may ask. Well, there’s a saying that your net worth is equivalent to the net worth of your 5 closest friends. That’s so true; think about it. It’s almost impossible to hang out with 5 multi-millionaires, learn from them, implement their strategies and remain poor for long because your network is equivalent to your net-worth.
I’ll keep this short and sweet with one tip today:
The suave property investor makes money irrespective of market conditions; so don’t be scared of investing in a portfolio.
Passive income, especially from a property portfolio, makes a lot of sense. You’ll need it in your old age if not now, and it’s easier to start now, than later.
I’ll go into more details in my next blog post.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
