It has been reported in the media that an Australian prospector struck it lucky yesterday just outside Ballarat – a town in southern Australia.
The anonymous individual could make over $300,000 at today’s going rate for his 5kg find!
The town of Ballarat and its surroundings played a huge role in the gold rush of the mid-1800s which brought Australia a wave of immigrants and transformed the economy.
There’s a new gold-rush on right now and I suggest that everyone who can should invest in not just gold, but silver. The current economic uncertainty – especially in developed economies means that investing now will save you a lot of heartache in a few years time because gold is predicted to continue it’s steady climb for the forseeable future.
I will be leaning more towards investing in the stock market this year as I see a huge opportunity to make a lot of money trading stocks and shares – especially gold and – the most volatile commodity of all time, silver.
This is not for the faint-hearted though, so if you don’t have any prior experience, tread softly and get your hands on as much information on stocks and shares, and more importantly, personal development. I can not stress the importance of the latter enough.
Gold is now worth over $1650 an ounce.
Happy New Year 🙂
